Synopsis
We kick off our Women Directors! season with this fantastic documentary following the ex-Comfort Woman of Korea. During the occupation of Korea by the Japanese, women were routinely forced to become prosititutes being dubbed the Comfort Women. Over forty years later the surviving members meet every Wednesday to protest the Japanese government, with the aim of receiveing an apology and compensition for what they went through.
